VIPs · Options VIP Trading Volume Calculation Adjustment

Starting May 21, 2026, OKX will count options trading volume for VIP tier qualification using a new method called Effective Notional.

The new method only applies to options; spot, futures, perpetual and spread volume stay the same.

Volume only drops when the 7% premium fee cap is triggered, so most trades will not change; the 30-day volume is calculated daily at 4:00 PM UTC.

OKX may change or postpone the effective date at its own discretion without further notice, so check the OKX fee page for your region and contact support if you have questions.
