Bitget will change the leverage, position tiers, and maintenance margin rate for eight perpetual futures pairs on 2026-10-22 at 12:00 (UTC+0): USDBRLUSDT, SOXLUSDT, SKHYUSDT, SKHYNIXUSDT, MSTRUSDT, MRVLUSDT, EWYUSDT, and CRCLUSDT.

Existing positions opened before the update are affected, and the new tier standards apply to them from the same 2026-10-22 12:00 (UTC+0) time.

For example, USDBRLUSDT positions up to 100,000 that were at 20x leverage with a 0.025 maintenance margin rate now fall in the 0 to 25,000 tier, at 100x leverage with a 0.0050 maintenance margin rate.

To avoid liquidation, users should top up margin or adjust their positions in advance, since maintenance margin rates may display above 100% under the new standards.
